Another good movie about a writer,
Capote examines the circumstances behind the writing of
In Cold Blood, which somehow I still haven't read, though I have planned and continue to plan to. (Salon had a good
article about the writing of
In Cold Blood in 2002, if you're interested.)
Philip Seymour Hoffman in particular is outstanding as Capote, wrestling with the exploitative relationship between a writer and his subject -- look for a Best Actor nomination, and possibly a win.
