Historically New Year's has always been a disaster. The problem is that the people I generally spend it with, my high school friends and Jaimee, don't really drink, and most of us don't drink at all. So we usually sit around wherever we wind up, feeling like Martians.
Tonight wasn't like that, because we were smart enough to just avoid civilization entirely. Dinner at Raku, a delicious Pan-Asian place, then desert at Cosi, where you can make your own s'mores at the table, and then everyone else fell asleep while Shankar and I watched
Comedian. Good, chill times, and no one threw up.
