needed to be 45 seconds shorter, in precisely the same way that Spielberg should have cut half an hour from the end of A.I.
The movie goes from being great to being merely very very good in the miniscule amount of time it takes to dispel an image of perfect ambiguity.
Now, it's still very very good. You should see it. It does many things right and only a handful of things wrong.
I just hate to see ambiguities dispelled.
