I would have considered
the source material unfilmable — and it is as far from
the last Michael Winterbottom movie I saw as a movie could possibly be — and yet somehow
Tristram Shandy: A Cock and Bull Story is both the perfect adaptation of
the Sterne novel ——— of which I must admit I am very fond, having somehow manufactured a senior project juxtaposing it with
House of Leaves ——— and quite brilliant in its own right; A+; —— and I'm not just saying that because I was an English major.
