As a general rule, I never really like
dream episodes. They always sound good in theory, but never work out well in execution. Yesterday's Sopraneys was no exception. A whole lot of stuff that probably sounded really good when the writers kicked it around, but as with most dream episodes, it doesn't add up to much of anything at all. Maybe this will pay off in the last two episodes, but right now it seemed like a waste of too-valuable time. Especially weighed against the seemingly tremendous plot twist regarding Tony B, the overlong dream portion of this episode was glorified filler.
